In the spirit of Valentine’s Day meet our latest warrior patient, Ryan. Ryan’s story hit home as this young man was in remission and was thrown a curveball at one of his monthly check-ups and has relapsed. Ryan is battling Leukemia and has began an intense chemotherapy treatment that will leave him in the hospital for 4-6 weeks. On top of this, Ryan needs a bone marrow transplant and one of his younger sisters will be his donor. An amazing family of warriors.
The Zippyfund helped with a donation to the family to ease some of the financial burdens their family is experiencing. This is truly an amazing family of warriors, battling in unprecedented times we are living through. We are sending so much love and strength to the Shaughnessy family!
